It is already the end of the first edition of the Healthy Homes Design Competition. The competition, born out of the collaboration between VELUX and REHVA, was a real success. 18 teams submitted their great projects, and, after careful evaluation, 4 teams were selected as finalists. These teams were invited to the 14th HVAC CLIMA World Congress to present their work to the independent jury members chaired by Stefano Corgnati, former president of REHVA.
The winning team was announced during the closing ceremony of CLIMA World Congress, on Wednesday 25 May and was awarded 5.000€.
Congratulations to Martina Heilig and Levin Kümmerle, students from the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg in Germany for winning the first edition of the HHDC!
The team that received the second price was from Aalborg University: Christian Rasmussen, Julian Graf, Nikolai Donskov Iversen, Mie Jansen, Mathias Vig. They were awarded 3.000€.
The third price went to Caroline Reich and Amelie Reise, from the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg in Germany. They were awarded 2.000€.
